Coriander

CORIANDRUM SATIVUM

Also called Chinese parsley or cilantro, this annual herb is a staple used in dishes across the globe to enhance flavour. The highly sought-after linalool, a floral and spicy terpene alcohol found in the plant, gives it its well-known citrusy, lime-like taste.

At Herbal Kulen, we take advantage of the pungent seeds and their citrus overtones by using them as one of the key botanicals in our gin. Mixed with other botanicals, coriander seeds contribute to the gin’s complex, multilayered flavour. It is one of the most influential spices in our gin.

Studies show that coriander may help lower blood sugar, is rich in immune-boosting antioxidants, and promotes healthy digestion.
