Gin originated from a medicinal liquor made by monks and alchemists.


HERBAL KULEN nurtures a selection of roots, spices and herbs endemic to the tropical savanna climate of Cambodia.


Our Craft Gins' botanicals are grown together in our medicinal forest garden at Kulen mountain, Beng Mealea temple. HERBAL KULEN GIN is distilled with organic grown botanicals.

Ingredients:


3 cl HERBAL KULEN Gin

15 cl fresh Passion juice

10 cl sugar syrup



Instructions:

Pour all ingredients in a shaker and add ice Shake til a frozen feeling in your hands Pour into tall glass, or any choice of glass Add soda water and serve



CAMBODIAN NEGRONI



Tasted this spiced-up strong Italian classic.



Ingredients:


2,5 cl HERBAL KULEN Gin

2,5 cl sweet vermouth DOLIN

1,5 cl Campari

Slice of orange for garnish


Instructions:


Pour gin, vermouth, and Campari into a mixing glass with ice

Stir well until the outside of the glass feels cold

Strain into short glass

Add one large ice cube Garnish with an orange slice



LEMONGRASS GIN



The particular sweetness of lemongrass essential water combine to freshness and floral bouquet.



Ingredients:


3 cl HERBAL KULEN Gin

15 cl fresh lime juice

10 cl HERBAL KULEN Lemongrass Hydrolat (HY)

10 cl sugar syrup

1 btl soda water


Instructions:


Pour all ingredients, apart from soda water, in a shaker and add ice

Our distillation process



Once the botanicals are selected and dried from our forest garden, they are brought into Siem Reap at our workshop to be distilled.


The production process consists of several infusions and five distillation steps. All year long, we regularly produce small batches of our gin amounting to a few thousand bottles annually.


Production in small batches allows us to closely inspect and ensure that each bottle of gin brings the spirit to maturity.


Our distilation pot is made for a strict control of the temperature.
